Our AF Team Spotlight

Hello there,
Spotlight: The Angiogenesis Foundation at the Eudēmonia Summit

Dr. William Li, President and Medical Director of the Angiogenesis Foundation, presented “Food as Medicine for Super Aging” at Eudemonia.
This past weekend, the Angiogenesis Foundation team traveled to Palm Beach, Florida, for the Eudēmonia Summit, an exciting gathering bringing together leaders in longevity, nutrition, wellness innovation, and preventive health. For us, it was a meaningful opportunity to share our work and connect with a community deeply invested in the future of healthy aging.
Our participation was highlighted by Dr. William Li, President and Medical Director of the Angiogenesis Foundation, who delivered a keynote on “Food as Medicine for Super Aging.” He shared how strengthening the body’s health defenses—especially angiogenesis—can influence longevity, and how everyday foods rich in bioactives can support vascular health, metabolism, the microbiome, and cellular renewal. His talk offered a powerful reminder that food is one of the most accessible tools we have to support long, vibrant lives.
Beyond the keynote, the summit offered a fascinating look at the future of wellness. From advanced wearables and biologic age testing to microbiome analytics, functional foods, and neuromodulation devices, the exhibition hall showcased a wave of technologies aimed at helping people better understand and improve their health. For the Angiogenesis Foundation, it was inspiring to see how quickly the longevity field is evolving—and how essential scientific rigor will be in guiding it.

Eudēmonia also brought together some of the most influential voices in health and well-being. Dr. Li reconnected with Dr. Jeffrey Bland, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Dan Buettner, whose contributions have shaped the modern conversation on functional medicine, food, and long-living communities. Throughout the weekend, he engaged in meaningful discussions on topics shaping the future of longevity: the microbiome with Dr. Colleen Cutcliffe, the health benefits of Akkermansia Muciniphila with Halle Berry, and vagus nerve stimulation with Kayla Barnes-Lentz.

Dr. Li and Dr. Mark Hyman discussed the deep connections between food, mood, and mental well-being.
We left Palm Beach with new ideas, new collaborations on the horizon, and a renewed sense of purpose. Across conversations with scientists, clinicians, founders, and wellness leaders, one message was clear: the world is seeking longevity solutions grounded in credible science, and the Angiogenesis Foundation is ready to lead that conversation.
